Dresslink review/ haul(-y thing)

It's been awhile yet again! I now know I really aint the blogging type. But I shall persevere! Today I will be doing a review of sorts on Dresslink, a cheap clothing/ footwear/ accessories website! (they sell lots of other random bits and bobs)
I ordered these items on the 1st of September, and they were shipped on the 3rd. I received my items on the 22nd..the overall transaction took 14 business days, which isn't too bad!
Here are the links to the items I bought:
Brush makeup kit in pink rollup bag
Long Sleeve Shirt with blue flower patterns
Long Sleeve Shirt with baroque designs(??)
Faux Leather Creepers

Dresslink seemed pretty legitimate to me since most items have customer reviews that seemed realistic and weren't all 5 stars haha. This is the second time I shop with them, having being very happy with my first ever online purchase, a pair of white ankle boot heels (They were a tad small however, I suggest ordering a size up for these particular shoes)

I had tons of photos taken of what I got this time, but stupidly and blindly and lazily batch automated them using a Photoshop action. Now most are overexposed and quite useless. Here is what I could salvage from the wreckage of my failure ;_;
I messed up the file size and didn't save a backup (I deserve a slap). This is the package the things came in.

The loot!

Probably happiest with these. I got them in my size (AU 6, EU 37) and they fit perfectly! I want more!!
Very poor quality..the platform is basically ugly spray painted styrofoam. However it was a great purchase in that for the price, I was able to test the look out before committing to perhaps a more expensive pair!

A beautiful shirt, but the material is very sheer, chiffon-like (not what I was expecting) and easy to crease. I don't like the way the pattern cuts off in the middle..unlucky, I guess

So sheer!! (That's the back)
These stud cuff-buttons are impossible to do up! (but I appreciate the detail hahaha)

A bit smaller than I was expecting but very cute. I think the pouch is a great brush store-er. It really is exactly like the picture.

Overexposed. Gosh. What's the point of a review if the photos aren't accurate??!
I'll do better next time, I promise. Overall, Dresslink's clothing is all o-kay quality (similar or a tad lower than Forever 21). The shoes all seem to be made of a similar, very crease-able, smooth material. They don't seem very durable. but look great :)
I'm 7/10 happy!
And tired.
Till next time!

I'm in Australia! Have been, for about 5 weeks now. I'm now living in Adelaide and trying to figure out what I'm going to do about my future. My family left me last week and I'm with relatives. It is quite an experience :) I never realised what a family-oriented person I am but I found myself actually tearing up during goodbyes. And here I was thinking I was such a cold-hearted witch! Anyhow, it's freezing cold here and I love it.
Transit in Hong-Kong which I LOVED. I want to go back.
In IKEA, many new friends are made.

I hope Australia never runs out of sushi.

This was actually in Melbourne. Frozen yogurt is rad.

I bought these shoes off Dresslink, and I'm over the moon.

I fear for my wallet.

Copenhagen at Glenelg.
I've been away from Oz for 7 years, and things haven't really changed, except for the prices. EVERYTHING'S SO EXPENSIVE.
Which is why Tony Abott's getting a lot of hate.

Let's hope I blog again soon! hahahaha

Everything is Temporary

Recently purchased plants from Ikea <3 I wake up to them every morning, and I think it helps brighten my day a tad.

AMAZING Daycraft sketchbook I got yesterday. It was on sale (at half price!!) after I'd been eyeing it for about 3 months. I thought getting a Moleskin meant the end for any other brand, but this was utterly unexpectedly perfect. The pages are a little thinner (but of excellent quality, it's just as smooth) and they've got more cover colour choices. The cover feels like heaven.

Pretty black edge.
I couldn't resist drawing in it straightaway (naturally avoiding the first page)

I don't like pink, and I'm failing Physics for certain.

Muddled

Sometimes I wonder if it's normal to have the highs and lows I experience. Doubtlessly this sounds extremely self-absorbed, but only a few days ago I was ecstatic about starting my 'blogging journey' as I had taken to calling it and now I feel like I've been thrust into a mud pit. It could have to do with the pressure of examinations recently..
I need to remind myself that this is to make myself happy by being a creative outlet!
Anyhow, I don't want to feel like blogging's a chore, so I will start gradually and simply.
Some things I have been liking:

Sesamoia

Leonid Tishkov

Yayoi Kusama

A little intro

My recent life in pictures. Lots of studying for my A Levels, a wonderful new dress I got from Forever 21, reading up on Einstein and a dead bird I found outside our house. It seemed like it was pushed off our balcony by its partner (??!) Domestic violence in the bird world.
I've been feeling really empty recently. I'm hoping to rediscover what I enjoy in life through blogging.

Firstly

I saw my first shooting star today and it made me very happy. Another first today is a burst of inspiration and motivation being channeled into starting a blog. It is something I have (possibly, guiltily) being secretly wanting to do for a long time. Let's see how it goes.
